Hi! My name is Rosanna, and I am the creator of RVenture Ahead. As a college instructor and mother of two little kids, I have little time on my hands and multiple schedules to coordinate.
Yet, we manage to go on RV camping trips every month!

I am glad you asked 🙂 The RVenture Planner allows you to keep all of your trip planning information organized by:
- Having sheets where you can keep track of the campgrounds you wish to visit
- Allowing you to enter your schedules and notes about upcoming events, work, and school schedules
- Automatically highlighting the days that you have available for trips
- Providing the ability to edit from any device and keep all the information synchronized
- You can add permissions to other family members, such as a significant other, to enter their schedules or any campground they wish to visit in the Bucket List.
If you make a reservation months ahead and then you have to cancel, well, then you cancel!
It is not pleasant or ideal, but it happens.
We have canceled trips multiple times for different reasons, including family illness, deaths in the family, and more recently, closures due to the pandemic.
Yet, for every trip we canceled, we were able to go on six more! If we had not planned ahead and simply waited for “the right time”, then we would only be able to camp a fraction of the time that we do now.
Life happens, and we never know what the future holds. All you can do is compile as much information as you have at the moment and work with that.
If things change, be open to adapt accordingly to the situations as they present themselves!
I do too! I have two kids with slightly different schedules. Likewise, both my spouse and I work different schedules.
Ultimately, if one of us is at work, or one of the kids has school or other activities, then that day is simply not available for RV camping. If more information is needed, then we simply add it in the Notes section.
I would not recommend removing columns unless you are comfortable modifying the formulas in place.
Instead, you can turn the entire school column to “OFF”
Great question! And the answer is a simple one: Customization. I often find that the free lists online are either lacking gear or equipment that I need, or have extra items that I normally would not bring camping.
This is how RVenture Pack&Camp lists are different:

To use the spreadsheets, you will need a Google Account (if you have Gmail, then you are set) and Google Drive to store your lists (Google’s cloud storage, free up to 15GB). To access Google Sheets on your phone, you will need to download the Google Sheets App from your phone’s app store.
Using all of these programs is free and quite simple.
The great thing about Google Sheets is that they can be easily used in both Mac and PC users! You can open Google Sheets on your computer using any supported web browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.
