Once you’re inside, you’ll appreciate all the features like hinged doors and window awnings that are designed to provide you with plenty of space and comfort.

This tent has a floor area of 16 ft x 7 ft and a height of 6 ft 2 in, so it is designed to accommodate up to 8 people. The tent only weighs 24 pounds, so transporting it to and from your campsite won’t be a problem.

As I mentioned briefly, it also has a door awning and hinged doors. For me, the hinged door is huge. Since we camp in Florida, where mosquitoes are a regular presence, we are not able to just leave the tent door open all the time. The act of opening and closing floppy tent doors is also something I do not like to do. I find it so much more pleasant and easier to use a rigid, hinged door rather than a flimsy one!

I find that the angled windows are fantastic in rainy weather, since you can still keep them open instead of having to close up the entire tent to keep dry.

It is fair to say that the Coleman 8-Person Tent for Camping is an affordable and comfortable option for families who are looking for a large and easy-to-set-up tent.

I keep saying this tent is big. To be specific, it has a floor area of 18 ft x 11 ft, and a maximum center height of 6 ft 8 in. As a result of the size, the unit weighs 58 pounds, which is quite heavy, but given the size and the instant setup system, it should not be surprising.
